Learn online with TRIO, free of charge
TRIO is the web learning system run by the Tuscany Region and funded by the European Social Fund. You pick courses from a public catalogue and follow them from home, whenever suits you. Everything is free, from registration to the certificate of attendance.

What you will find

Italian for foreigners
From level A1 to C1, with modules on building-site vocabulary for bricklayers and house painters.

ICDL and ECDL
The courses follow the ICDL modules: computer basics, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations. The certification exam itself is taken at an accredited centre.

French, Spanish and German from level A1 to B2. English goes up to C1.
To register
You need an Italian digital identity: SPID, the electronic identity card (CIE) or the national services card (CNS). There is no other way to create an account. From 14 to 17, registration goes through the SPID for minors, together with a parent or guardian.
What you get
A certificate of attendance in PDF, issued once the final test is passed with at least 75%. It can be attached to a CV. It is not a qualification: it does not count on its own in public competitions and does not replace training required by law.
TRIO is a service of the Tuscany Region. The Foundation does not run it and does not enrol anyone: registration takes place on the TRIO website. TRIO figures, checked on 10 October 2026.
